As part of the JAFA’s strategy to combine hands-on experience with on-campus education, instructor Mohamad Negro organized a site visit for architecture students of the “Design for Execution” course to the Lebanese University's new campus in Tripoli.
The visit aimed at supporting the classwork of design execution and detailing with on-site observation and study of the materials, operation, construction technology and execution methods prevalent in the new campus design. Students were asked to write reports about their on-site remarks and analysis.
The site visit was a bonding activity for the students and a great opportunity to expose them to some of the fine architectural examples of the North.
