BASMAJI AND BIELINSKA ARCHITECTS

Dr. Marwan Basmaji's Architectural Studio BBA ( Basmaji and Bielinska Architects) won the Cityscape Award 2017 for the "Community, Culture and Tourism" category for the design of "Barbar Temples Visitors Center" in Bahrain. The "Cityscape Awards for Emerging Markets" celebrate excellence in architecture, covering a range of categories from culturally integrated city skylines to sustainable urban communities. With more than 300 initial submissions received, a total of 44 projects from 17 countries were shortlisted, before the final 11 winners were revealed on Monday 11 September at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai.

Although the Project is still in its detailed design stage, it has won already 2 prestigious awards:
-The Young Arab Architects Awards organized by the World Arab Institute and Venice Biennale (2012)
-The Leonardo Young Architects Award organized by the International Union of Architects UIA in Minsk (2013)
