Azm University Hosts MP Sami Fatfat in History Class
28/10/2021
Lebanon’s youngest Member of Parliament and businessman, Mr. Sami Fatfat, was the guest of the History of Lebanon class on October 21, invited by Media and Business Administration instructor Dr. Nidal Shaaban
Mr. Fatfat, whose father also served in Parliament and as a prime minister for a number of years, met with students in a standing-room only open forum where interest was mostly directed to issues about the stages and causes of the great Lebanese collapse.
Mr. Fatfat also spoke of the major events that affected Lebanon in the past couple of years and the efforts to build back under the current political and economic crises.
The session was of particular significance as it brought students closer to the reality of politics, the history of the situation Lebanon, and thus bridging academic acquisition through direct communication and interaction.
